Reason #13 to NOT drive a car: Traffic on I-5

If you don’t drive a car, you will not have to wait in traffic on I-5.

(Though I suppose buses sometimes get caught in it)

  1. Yes, we do get stuck in this mess. There really isn’t a good way around it either. Frequently I dead-head back after an afternoon trip on the 76 or 77 and spend more time driving South on I-5, empty, than I did dropping off 50 or 60 passengers headed home for the day.

  2. Oh my goodness — an this happens every day? Light Rail ftw! :)
