OK, that didn’t happen. But Navy Capt. (Ret.) Louis Kriser is worried that headline could someday run if a public bike path goes in next to the Army-Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. Biking Bis has good analysis, as always.

Car Free Days is running a very important series about transitioning from carrying a kid on a parent’s bike to the kid riding along with a parent. It’s a scary but necessary moment, I would imagine. Having a discussion about family riding should happen in every community. If you haven’t been following their series, I highly suggest it, even if you don’t have/want kids.

Bike Nerd Josh Cohen asks if Seattle should ban the right turn on red. Right turns on red are banned in Europe and are relatively new in the U.S. (Gerald Ford led the way).
