Help load bikes for the Village Bicycle project Saturday

The Village Bicycle Project is packing a shipping container full of bicycles destined for Ghana, but they need your help. The load-in will be Saturday, Dec. 4 at Total Reclaim (AKA Ecolights NW) in Georgetown from 9 a.m. until the late afternoon. Show up whenever you can for however long you can, but it would be most useful to show up in the morning.

From the VBP:

Help us load a container of bikes headed to Ghana, Saturday December 4, 2010, in Georgetown, at Total Reclaim (also known now as Ecolights NW – 1915 South Corgiat Drive), starting at 9 AM til we are done, hopefully by 5PM. This event is happening, rain or shine!

Sending bikes to Africa is a great way to get in the holiday spirit and help someone in need.

As always, we offer good wholesome hard work and lots of fun. Packing bikes tight and closing the big double doors is always cause for celebration! Bike prepping will be inside. Munchies will be provided. Bring a water bottle, thermos and a friend.

Bring closed toe shoes and bike tools if you have them.
