Bike Love Party in Pioneer Square Thursday

BikeLovePostcardThe Bicycle Alliance of Washington’s First Thursday party this month will be a Bike Love Party.

Sponsored in part by Zipcar (also a new Seattle Bike Blog sponsor!), the party will take place during the monthly Pioneer Square Art Walk tomorrow starting at 5:30 p.m. and going until 8.

Also, free* beer, music, good people and raffle prizes.

More details from BikeWA:

During First Thursday Art Walk on February 7 Bicycle Alliance of Washington will throw open its doors to launch our first Open House of the year, co-sponsored with Back Alley Bike Repair and Zipcar. We’re calling it the Bike Love Party in honor of mischievous Cupid. We’ll feature fine brew from Hilliard’s, an artisanal brewery in Ballard, and you can get down to the heavenly rhythms of Crown Social deejay Zach Huntting’s awesome music.

Admission and beer is free (donations to Bicycle Alliance happily accepted). We’ll have raffle prizes from Seattle-area bike shops. Zipcar will raffle off a weekend getaway prize in a bike-friendly Zipcar and crazy new deals with lots of free driving for new members.

Not to mention an early sign up for the most scenic two day bicycle ride in all of Washington, RAPSody Ride, to be held August 24 and 25 with all proceeds  benefiting Bicycle Alliance!!

So come on down Bike Lovers, one and all. Mount up and ride to our Bike Love Party. You don’t want to miss a beat!  RSVP on our Facebook event page.

* You should probably throw BikeWA some donated bones for the beer. After all, they’re working hard right now to pass some laws that will make our streets safer!
