I love Bicycle Sunday.
The route map is a wonderful addition. Here’s a PDF of the 2012 map (ignore the dates): http://www.seattle.gov/parks/bicyclesunday/files/brochure.pdf
For first-timers, my 3 picks would be:
– Seward Park loop: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seward_Park_(Seattle)
– Kubota Garden: http://www.kubotagarden.org/. I’ve lived here all my life and this is my favorite park in Seattle. It’s ~4 miles south of Seward Park, but easy to reach and incredible to walk through.
– Empire Espresso. Detour at Alaska St. for some extra fuel. At Empire, “fuel” can be coffee (with Kuma beans), beer, wine, or.. waffles.
