Considering that none of the tasks seems to require a trail closure, except, possibly fixing the sign bridge, why does the trail need to be closed the entire weekend? Can’t they fix the sign bridge overnight and leave the trail open while they restripe the car lanes a d realign the eastbound onramp (which is nowhere near the trail)?
And, if they are closing the trail, can they at least take advantage of the opportunity to sweep it? I was there a couple days ago, and there’s quite a lot of debris on the ground.
