The 16th Dead Baby Downhill starts at Targy’s Tavern (6th Ave W and W Crockett St) on Queen Anne Hill Friday evening.
The huge bike bash organized annually by the Dead Baby Bike Club involves a legendary bike race to Georgetown, followed by a party.
Registration for the ride starts at 5, ride starts at 7.
Or if you are just into it for the festivities, you can go straight to Georgetown and watch the parade of freak bikes (and normal bikes) roll through.

One response to “Weekend Guide: Dead Baby Downhill, Babeland fundraising bike tube flogger workshop + more”
The “Dead Baby” ride passed through my neighborhood on Lower Queen Anne and I have to say many in group did not set a good example for proper cyclist etiquette. Many were riding on both sides of the road, most blasted through stop signs and lights causing a danger to themselves and pedestrians, and since the ride left Targy’s I’m sure many had a few to drink as well. As a cyclist I’m all for riders or groups of riders who practice their rights to occupy to the road respectfully, but that was unfortunately not the case last night.
