Bike commute meeting at City Hall tomorrow

Commute Seattle is hosting a lunchtime meeting with the mayor, Tom Rasmussen, and leaders of SDOT, King County Metro and Cascade. The discussion will be about bike infrastructure focussing on downtown bike commuting. RSVP by e-mail if you’re interested.

The meeting will likely discuss things like the new buffered bike lanes on 7th, which are fairly rad. Details:

Panelist will discuss recent bicycle infrastructure projects throughout the city, downtown bicycle commuter amenities, and the future of bike commuting to downtown.

Vendors will also be on hand to provide bike commuter information. Attendees receive a raffle ticket for cool prizes!
