Broadway cycle track could be ready next year + Could it extend to Volunteer Park (or 520)?

City officials Tuesday announced funds to extend the First Hill Streetcar north from its terminus at Denny Way to Roy St or even all the way to Volunteer Park. First Hill Streetcar: A look at bike plans + open house tonight

Construction on the First Hill Streetcar is set to begin in April, putting it on track to begin operation in early 2014. Planners present more details for Broadway Bikeway

Planners presented more specifics about the proposed Broadway cycle track, which has now been dubbed the “Broadway Bikeway.” The project is part of the First Hill Streetcar, which will connect Pioneer Square and King Street Station to the under-construction Capitol Hill Link light rail station at Broadway and Denny via Jackson, Yesler and Broadway.
