New South Lake Union park brings Cheshiahud Loop closer to completion
With the opening of Lake Union Park in South Lake Union, the Cheshiahud Loop comes closer to completion. The park connects to the Westlake Ave path/parking lot, allowing bikes and pedestrians a nice cut through the park instead of battling with the mess that is Valley St.

Changes coming to Fairview and Fairview
Among the Neighborhood Street Fund projects announced by the city last week are changes to the intersection of Fairview Ave N and Fairview Ave E, just north of the new Lake Union Park. Currently, cars on Fairview Ave N make turns onto Fairview Ave E too quickly, making it dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians.
