Tantrum ends: Port approves Eastside Rail Corridor sale

Over a month after the Port of Seattle Commissioners voted to throw a childish tantrum and withhold sale of the Eastside Rail Corridor because they were upset about the plans to build a completely unrelated arena in Seattle, the Commissioners have now approved the sale. Port of Seattle study of Nickerson confirmed the project would not affect traffic – UPDATED

UPDATED: The Port denies this study ever existed. See update at bottom of story. Publicola found out an interesting little tidbit the other day.
