Regional Council recommends funds for 7th Ave bike lanes, Bellevue trail design + more

The Puget Sound Regional Council, which distributes federal transportation funding in the area, has recommended additional funding to build the 7th Ave protected bike lanes downtown, design a replacement Hed Ec bike/walk bridge on UW campus and to fully design two phases of the Mountains-to-Sound Trail (AKA I-90 Trail) in Bellevue. Regional Council selects $17M in walk/bike investments

The Puget Sound Regional Council has announced $17 million in Federal funds for walking and biking investments in the area. Investments include $600,000 for the underfunded Northgate Station bike/walk bridge as well as key trail connections in Lynnwood, Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, Bainbridge and more.
