Thief steals two handcycles from Renton paraplegic veteran

A terrible person (or persons) has stolen two handcycles from a Renton man who leads an organization for paralyzed veterans. Ernie Butler, the executive director of the Northwest Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America, reported the bikes stolen November 7. Person struck while cycling in Renton dies – UPDATED

Few details are available, but the Seattle Times reports that a person riding a bike near Renton Memorial Stadium at 5:06 p.m. was struck by a car and taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
